I created my own account in tickle and got interested in their Brain Test. I was really impressed at my own result, never thought my left and right brain are perfectly working together fair and square. Hehe! It’s really fun you should try it.

When you need to explain a complicated process to someone, or plan a detailed vacation, the left hemisphere of your brain, which is responsible for your ability to solve problems logically, might kick in. But if you were critiquing an art opening or coming up with an original way to file papers, the right side of your brain, which is responsible for noticing subtle details in things, might take over.

The down side to being balanced-brained is that you may sometimes feel paralyzed by indecision when the two hemispheres of your brain are competing to solve a problem in their own unique ways.
I was on roofdeck of a 33-floor-building while I am enjoying another wonderful manila bay sunset. The sky is a gradient of blue and red and a small strip of clouds are there to make the view more beutiful. It was around 5pm and was already tired from work. But with this kind of panoramic view: the sky, the sunset, the clouds, the ocean, and mountains, oh God really loves us. He made it all for us to enjoy.
I looked towards the ground and saw busy streets, people rushing through traffic, traffics blowing horn at each other, toxic. Made me think if only they could see the sunset from where I am standing at, Im sure they would call it a day. I wonder why so many people fail to put God above all. Maybe because they’re too busy to look at wonderful things that God gave us.
It takes a lot of courage to let go of the past, the common, the ussual, the familiar life and start a new one. But we have to accept the fact that changes are essential to everybody. Time will come that there will be something that is no longer meaningful to us. We continue to live with it because we pretend to find joy in it, afraid of what might happen if we let go. But there will be a time that holding on will be more painful than the risk of letting go. Changing is not always from bad to good, sometimes it’s from good to better.

Feminine side of a man always shows when love is around. I remember Cyrill, a friend back in college when he said his farewell to us. We didn’t expect to see him cry cause he’s not that type of guy. He’s a guy with lots of dirty tricks on girls, a guy who loves to make fun of the others, and a guy who we haven’t seen any soft side of him ever. But on that day and time, he burst out to tears. He hugged everyone of us and said that he’s gonna’ miss us so much, and then all the girls also cried that time and i know the guys also wanted to cry but their just holding it and i felt the same way too.
There is something (work problem) in my mind right now that is keeping my heart beats deeper that I could even hear the sound of it. And everytime I give my lungs a big deep draw in of an air gives me a temporary peace of mind and heart. seconds later, the nerve-racking feeling will come back again.
I opened my iTune and listened to Fall Out Boys’ Sugar we’re goin’ down. I closed my eyes for a moment and lip sync it ’till the end. It made me forget my dilemma somehow, though the song is way out of my issue. Now I’m back in the mood. Music always helps my day.
Sometimes you have to accept the superiority of other people.
And sometimes superior people might not treat you well.
They might despise you for who you are and they might sometimes think of you as a trash.
And you can’t do anything about it because authorities are on their side.
Then there will be a time you will realize that you too want to be superior.
Then your perseverance will make that realization into reality.
It is now up to you if you are going to despise people below you
or give your hand to lift them up.
There are three essential parts in prayer. one is you pray, second is you believe, third is you act. All of these are needed for your prayer to be answered.
You pray, its too obvious this one is needed in prayer. duh?!? but of course you have to know what’s for you and what’s not for you”. You know what i mean!!!
You believe, I remember in one of spongebob episodes wherein spongebob said: “If you believe in yourself and with a tiny pinch of magic, all of your dreams can come true.” Hehe, that’s not my point. What i mean is believe that God will answer your prayer, as in really believe in Him, not even a single doubt in your heart. Kind of like nothing to worry about. I know it’s hard to do but its a must. Once you worry, you already doubted the power of God, and if you have a doubt on God, then you should have not pray at all.
You act, another essential thing in prayer. Mercy is in God; deeds are in men. What you pray for won’t pop-up in just a blink of an eye. Of course you have to strive for it, do what ever it is you need and have to do.
with all these stuffs… your prayers will be answered… 100% sure… if you think you’ve done all of these and your prayer hasn’t been answered yet… then check the second part.. maybe there’s too little doubt in your heart.. too little to be seen… and remember, you can’t fool God so don’t even think of faking it…
I remember last week when i got a free time and ended up reading my friendster profile specifically my friend’s testimonials to me, it was a really great way to spend a dead afternoon. A great time really! I really felt good reading it. I started to realize how I became part of their lives, friends who are real, friends from college and high school. I never thought it was that fun reading it. It makes my heart beat faster, memories run through my brain, old good days. Everyone’s laughing, foolin’ around, and in short everybody’s happy. Different images flashes in the air as i read every one of it, oh how i really miss the old days back from high school and college. I never thought growing up is this hard. I just left school for about 4 months and I already miss everything, sigh! When will the old times happen again?
